In this forum, we explored initiatives designed to enable teachers to participate in and lead educational research.

We critically considered:

  • The policy drives that have shaped the Teachers as Researchers agenda
  • The processes involved in teachers acting as researchers
  • The roles that emerge among teachers and academics through the shift
